Two Vintage Chairs
I found online two vintage-style chairs. The first was a Regency/Georgian style chair purchased for just £5 and the second, a nice old-ish nursing chair, was £20 on collection.
To keep a vintage theme I opted to re-cover them in a Regency-style Ascot stripe material, purchased from Just Fabrics of Cheltenham.
I purchased about 10m of the Ascot stripe and this proved sufficient for the two chairs, as well as a matching lampshade and pair of curtains for our bedroom. I may later make up some matching cushions to go with them.
As with Debbie's chairs, no material will go to waste. Any trimmings or offcuts will be added to my burgeoning and ever increasing fabric stock.

It looked nice from a distance, but the paint work was very chipped and the velour covering was becoming threadbare in places.
